The Government pursues the regularization of tenure of informal settler families occupying public lands through the issuance of Presidential proclamations declaring parcels of public lands open for disposition to qualified beneficiaries.

The Government likewise provides priority assistance to those who are in danger areas (river banks, esteros and toher flood prose areas), those in the right-of-way (ROW) of government infrastructure rpojects, and those in threat of demolition.
