VP NOLI AT THE ROTARY TOWNHOMES IN TAGUIG CITY
 
Vice President and Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) chairman Noli 'Kabayan' De Castro cites the importance of strategic partnership between the local government, private sector, beneficiaries, and the national government saying such scheme can speed-up the implementation of the socialized housing program.  Speaking during the inauguration of the Rotaryville Family Townhomes in Taguig City recently (June 16), De Castro said the housing projects and initiatives of Taguig City are examples of best practices in good urban management and good local governance.  Listening are officers of the Rotary Club of Manila, homepartners of the Rotaryville, and local government officials led by Taguig Mayor Freddie Tinga (in white short-sleeved barong), Congressman Rodolfo Valencia (in light yellow polo), Congressman Jun Duenas (in blue long sleeves) and Vice Mayor George Elias (in dark yellow polo).

VP Noli, Pag-IBIG aid typhoon victims
Assessing the devastation caused by typhoon “Frank”, Vice President and Pag-IBIG Fund Board Chairman Noli “Kabayan” De Castro directed the Fund to come to the aid of the victims by expediting the processing of applications for calamity loans.  Immediately, Pag-IBIG, through its Chief Executive Officer Romero F. S. Quimbo, approved the allocation of P1.5 billion for the said loans to help Fund members affected by typhoon “Frank”, which triggered disastrous floods particularly in the Visayas Region.
